The M19 SSM Rocket Launcher is a heavy weapon used by the Church of Gaming and it's allies when surface-to-surface heavy combat is needed. It has been nicknamed the SPNKr and Jackhammer by the Marines and it is not uncommon to see the name graffitied on to the side.

The M19 was developed sometime during the time of the original Church, and has been a staple in Gaming warfare ever since. After the fall of the original Church it was often used by roving bands of mercenaries and bandits. The weapon was readopted by the second Church of Gaming, and is used extensivley to take down vehicles and send foes scattering from large areas of cover.

Behind the ScenesEdit

The M19 Rocket Launcher was first seen in Halo: Combat Evolved. It was the UNSC's primary anti-vehicle weapon and was used through-out the campaign on the Halo ring. The weapon returned in Halo 2, where it is still the UNSC's primary heavy weapon, but is also used by the Flood, and possibly by the Covenant's Arbiter. The Rocket Launcher was replaced in Halo 3 by the M41 Surface-to-Surface Rocket Medium Anti-Vehicle/Assasult Weapon, though it returned in Halo Wars as an upgrade for the Marine (and later ODST) unit's grenade barrage special abillity. The weapon was similarlly ignored in Halo 3: ODST and Halo Reach.
